The UP Asian Center, in partnership with the Embassy of Japan, the UP Center for International Studies, and the English Rakugo Association hosted a production of “Rakugo in English” on 23 November 2023, Thursday, 6:00 PM, at the GT-Toyota Auditorium, Asian Center, Diliman.

The UP Asian Center successfully hosted the 7th NACAI International Symposium with the theme “Energy and Environment Nexus and the Future of the Asia-Pacific Region” last 17 November 2023 at the Seminar Room, GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium. The event was conducted in a hybrid format.

The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman is looking for one (1) graduate assistant for the Office of the Dean for the Second Semester, AY 2023–2024. The deadline for applications is on 12 February 2024. This is open to all UP Diliman graduate students. AC graduate students are highly encouraged to apply.

The UP Asian Center, in partnership with UP Center for International Studies, and Philippines-Cuba Cultural and Friendship Association (PhilCuba), will be holding a public forum, “The Resurgence of the Left in Latin America and the Challenge of the Right in the Global South: Implications for Asia and the Philippines” on 5 February 2024, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (GMT+8), PH Time, at the Seminar Room, UP Asian Center. The event is free and open to the public. Seating is first-come, first-serve.
