AC Alumni Organization Holds Flooding and Flood Control Lecture

The Asian Center hosted the Lecture on Environmental Concern: Flooding and Flood Control last 7 May 2014 at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 12 nn.

The lecture was given by Dr. Eduardo Zafra, Board Director of the Alumni, Friends, and Benefactors of the Asian Center, and Dr. Leonardo Q. Liongson, Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Dr. Liongson is also an academician at the National Academy of Science and Technology.

Serving as discussants were Edwin Domingo, President of the UP Geology Alumni Association and Reynaldo G. Tagudando, Director, Department of Public Works, National Capital Region. The lecture was co-sponsored by the Alumni, Friends, and Benefactors of the Asian Center (AFBAC) and the Office of the Mayor of Quezon City, and the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman.
