Eustaquia G. Landa, Head Librarian of the Asian Center, received a Service Award from the University of the Philippines Main Library last 17 March 2014. Ms. Landa has been with the University of the Philippines for 26 years.

“I would like to thank Sir Rudy [Rodolfo Tarlit, University Librarian] for this recognition,” said Ms. Landa, Ate Tacs to Asian Center staff and students. “Time flies so fast, I can't believe it's been 26 years! Thank you as well to the committee that organized the ceremony.”

Ms. Landa first worked at the Main Library in 1987 and transferred to the Asian Center in 1999. She was also assigned at the Institute of Library Science (now the School of Library and Information Science) and the School of Statistics in UP Diliman.

Ms. Landa finished her Bachelor of Accounting at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 1984 and obtained her MA in Library Science in 1995 from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
