In celebration of its 92nd anniversary, the University Library will be giving an amnesty on book fines for unreturned overdue books on 17 to 18 March 2014.

University Librarian Rodolfo Tarlit sent a memo dated 4 March to all head librarians, main library sections, and college/unit libraries. The memo also said that 'fines can be waived' for lost books as long as 'the material is replaced in accordance with library guidelines.'
