The UP Asian and the Japan Foundation Manila are now accepting submissions for the "3rd Nationwide Japanese Studies Research Competition." Graduate students—MA and PhD—may submit any Japan-related research papers (except topics on natural sciences, medical sciences, and engineering); undergraduate students may enter essays with the topic, “Japan and Diversity in the Time of COVID.” The deadline for submission is extended until 30 January 2021, 5 pm.
As culmination to its 65th anniversary celebration, the UP Asian Center will hold two Korea-related events on 2 December 2020 via Zoom. The events are free and open to the public, but interested participants are required to register using an authenticated Zoom account.
