The UP Asian Center will hold “A Taste of Asia: A Mini Food Festival” on 15 November 2018, 3–5 pm at the UP Asian Center, Quezon City. The event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome, but interested participants are encouraged to sign up.
THE MENU
The minifood festival will showcase cuisines from
- India (Samosa)
- Vietnam (Spring Rolls)
- Indonesia (Rendang)
- East Asia
Visitors can try all delicacies—including drinks—for free. The samosa will be prepared by a chef from the Royal Indian Curry House.
Utensils will be provided, but if possible, guests are encouraged to bring their own spoon/fork/small plate/drinking glass to minimize the use of plastic/disposable materials.
The food festival is an initiative by the students of Asian Studies 201A—Modern Asia—under Dr. Cecilia Medina.
