The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman will begin accepting applications to its M.A. program on 6 April 2015. Deadline of submission is on 29 May 2015. Admission requirements can be found here.

The Asian Center offers interdisciplinary MA programs in four geocultural areas—Northeast Asia (China, Japan, and Kora), South Asia, Southeast Asia, and West Asia—that facilitate a deep understanding and wider perspective of Asia.  Students will explore broad theoretical and practical issues and topics that affecting Asian societies, examining them from different perspectives and using various methodologies.

MA programs in Philippine Studies are designed to nurture experts with a broad and integrated comprehension of Filipino society and culture, politics and governance, and socio-economic development. MA students can specialize in any of three areas: Philippine socio-cultural studies, Philippine external relations, and Philippine development studies.
