The Tri-College PhD Philippine Studies program, jointly offered by the Asian Center (secretariat), College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, and the College of Arts and Letters since 2004, covers several fields of specialization:

- Filipino and Philippine Literature

- Philippine Literature in English
- Philippine Literature in Spanish
- Philippine Arts and Music
- Speech Communication and Theater Arts
- Anthropology, Demography, Geography, History, Linguistics, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology
