Twenty-two MA graduates and four newly minted PhDs took part in "Aning Tagumpay, Salaysay ng Alay," the 2019 Recognition Day held on 30 June 2019 at the GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center, Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman.
Ambassador Elizabeth P. Buensuceso was Guest of Honor and Mr. Yonaha and Ms. Boquiren delivered the response of the MA and PhD graduates, respectively. The Master in Asian Studies and Master in Philippine Studies programs refers to the non-thesis track of our graduate programs.

The UP Asian Center offers M.A. degrees in Asian Studies with four fields of specialization: Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia. The Center also has an M.A. program in Philippine Studies that allows students to major in Philippine society and culture, Philippine foreign relations, or Philippine development studies. The Center offers a Ph.D. program in Philippine Studies in conjunction with the College of Arts and Letters and the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy.
