Dear UP community and general public,
For the health, safety and well-being of our employees, faculty, students, and communities, the UP Asian Center will continue to enforce a Work-From-Home arrangement, and employees have a day each week to report for work only for any essential service. In such cases, they will observe necessary safety and health guidelines, including disinfection of common and frequently touched surfaces.
For inquiries, please contact the respective offices via our Office Directory in our COVID-19 page (see "Contact Info" tab).
VISITORS INFORMATION: NO WALK-INS, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
The Asian Center staff are committed to keeping you as safe as possible. We need your help to proactively reduce the spread of illness during the COVID-19 pandemic by rescheduling appointments not considered urgent at this time or schedule a teleconference meeting with our staff.
If you do need to come to the Asian Center for an urgent or essential appointment, please fill out this appointment form
Visitors with essential, onsite transactions and confirmed appointments are advised to communicate with the office they need to transact with, and to clarify all applicable matters in advance. After confirming their appointments, they must then follow the procedures listed in this flowchart.
IMPORTANT FOR VISITORS WITH CONFIRMED APPOINTMENTS
♦ Wear face masks at all times
♦ Bring your own pen and alcohol
♦ Comply with physical distancing and other infection-control measures
♦ Keep interactions to less than 30 minutes (so others can use designated room)
Those who are ill or display any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, etc.) upon entry will be referred and accompanied to the UP Health Service. Please view these related guidelines. Visitors are thus encouraged to stay at home if they are feeling sick, and/or if they have a sick family member at home.
The Asian Center’s post-ECQ guidelines are based on those issued by the University of the Philippines Diliman. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
