ANNYEONG!: Free Online Korean Language Classes @ UP Asian Center

The UP Asian Center will offer free Korean language classes which will be held every Saturday starting 10 September 2022 to 17 December 2022, via Zoom. Applications for limited slots are open to all, but priority will be given to UP Asian Center students. The classes are offered courtesy of the Seoul National University through the generous support of Korea Foundation. The deadline of submissions is on 7 September 2022, 5:00 PM, PHT.

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES AND CLASS MODALITY

Classes will be held every Saturday, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Philippine Standard Time, via Zoom. Classes will start on 10 September 2022, and will end on 17 December 2022.

ELIGIBILITY

Applications for the limited slots are open to all, but priority will be given to UP Asian Center students. Applicants are required to submit their essays; and accepted applicants will be notified through email.

ESSAY AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• The essay must answer the following question:
o Why do you need to learn Korean Language?
• Minimum of 300 words, maximum of 500 words only.
• A4 Size Paper, Arial Font, Size 11, Single spaced
• Saved in a PDF file with filename: LAST NAME – KLC Essay 2022
• Deadline of submission is on 7 September 2022, 5:00 PM, PHT.

CERTIFICATES

Official certificates of completion will be awarded to those who will successfully complete the course.
