The UP Asian Center in partnership with the Asia Center, Seoul National University through the generous support of the Korea Foundation, will offer a free INTERMEDIATE Korean Language class to be held every Tuesday starting 27 August 2024 to 9 December 2024, via Zoom. Applications for limited slots are open to UP Asian Center students, those who have already taken their Elementary Korean Classes with AC, and selected UP students. The deadline for registration of AC Students and individuals who took Elementary Korean classes with AC is on 22 August 2024, 5:00 PM, PHT.  The deadline for registration for UP Students is on 25 August 2024, 11:59 PM. 

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES AND CLASS MODALITY

The class will be held every Tuesday, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, Philippine Standard Time, via Zoom. Classes will start on 27 August 2024 and will end on 9 December 2024.

ELIGIBILITY

Applications for the limited slots are open to the following students:
      1.        Currently Enrolled UP Asian Center Korea Majors [REGISTRATION CLOSED]
      2.        Currently Enrolled UP Asian Center Students [REGISTRATION CLOSED]
      3.        Individuals who have taken the Basic Korean Language Classes with the UP Asian Center [REGISTRATION CLOSED]
      4.        Currently Enrolled UP Diliman Students who Took Basic Korean Language Classes from Other Institutions [REGISTRATION OPEN UNTIL 25 AUGUST 2024, 11:59 PM] 
NOTE:  This is an INTERMEDIATE Korean Language Class. Selected participants are expected to have completed Elementary or Basic Korean Language. You will be notified via email if you will be accepted into the class. 

COMPLETION

Official Certificates of Completion will be awarded to those who will complete the course.

INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Go Eun Kim of Seoul National University will be the Intermediate Level Korean Language Class instructor.

The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman offers M.A. degrees in Asian Studies with four fields of specialization: Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia.
