The UP Asian Center in partnership with the Seoul National University Asia Center, University of the Philippines Korea Research Center, and Korea Foundation will be conducting a Korean Studies Special Workshop on 3 December 2022, 9:00 am (GMT+8), at Microtel by Wyndham, UP Technohub, Quezon City. ABOUT THE SPECIAL WORKSHOP
Under the overarching theme “Multiple Connections between the Philippines and the Korean Peninsula,” the event aims to invite Filipino junior scholars from various universities to disseminate the Korea-related research outcomes and to allow Korean and Filipino academics to network for future partnerships and cooperations.

The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman offers M.A. degrees in Asian Studies with four fields of specialization: Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia. The UP Asian Center also has an M.A. program in Philippine Studies that allows students to major in Philippine society and culture, Philippine foreign relations, or Philippine development studies. It also offers a Ph.D. program in Philippine Studies in conjunction with the College of Arts and Letters and the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy.
