The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman End-of-Term Report 2021-2024 is now available for download. The report contains the highlights, projects, and achievements during the three-year term of incumbent Dean Henelito A. Sevilla, Jr., Ph.D. beginning August 2021 to 2024.
ABOUT THE REPORT
The report highlights the achievements and significant milestones in teaching, research, and public service of the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman from August 2021 to 2024 under the leadership of incumbent Dean Henelito A. Sevilla Jr., Ph.D. With the vision of elevating the profile of the Center as a leading academic and policy hub in the region, landmark accomplishments of the previous administration include
1. the roll-out of the modified and updated curriculum
2. cultural renaissance through music, dance, and the arts
3. growing connections with leading area studies centers around the world and strengthening linkages with regional and academic research networks
4. reinvigorating collaboration and partnerships with national and international partners through new Memoranda of Understanding
5. institutional development through the addition of faculty items and the renovation of the GT-Toyota facility and grounds

The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman offers M.A. degrees in Asian Studies with four fields of specialization: Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia. The UP Asian Center also has an M.A. program in Philippine Studies that allows students to major in Philippine society and culture, Philippine foreign relations, or Philippine development studies. It also offers a Ph.D. program in Philippine Studies in conjunction with the College of Arts and Letters and the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy.
