The UP Asian Center will offer free Bahasa Indonesia classes which will be held every Saturday starting 22 February 2020 to 9 May 2020. Applications for the limited slots are open to all, but priority will be given to Asian Center students. The classes are offered courtesy of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia.

- A1 : 9 a.m – 12 noon
- A2: 1:00 p.m – 4 p.m (Applicant must have successfully finished A1.)
- Fill out the application form.
- Letter expressing intent and briefly explaining motivations to learn Bahasa Indonesia.

The Asian Center offers M.A. degrees in Asian Studies with four fields of specialization: Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia. The Center also has an M.A. program in Philippine Studies that allows students to major in Philippine society and culture, Philippine foreign relations, or Philippine development studies. The Center offers a Ph.D. program in Philippine Studies in conjunction with the College of Arts and Letters and the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy.
