Service Advisory: Asian Center Library Is Closed Until Further Notice, Waives Fines for Overdue Books

As a preventive and safety measure to the current situation on COVID-19, the Asian Center Library will be CLOSED effective Monday, March 16, 2020 until further notice.

Overdue books may be returned upon service resumption. The Asian Center Library waives all fines for overdue materials due beginning March 10, 2020 and until normal/onsite service resumes.

Students are encouraged to use UPD Remote Access via EZPROXY to access electronic resources off-campus. Just visit: ezproxy.upd.edu.ph/login and login using your DILNET account. The Asian Center offers M.A. degrees in Asian Studies with four fields of specialization: Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia. The Center also has an M.A. program in Philippine Studies that allows students to major in Philippine society and culture, Philippine foreign relations, or Philippine development studies. The Center offers a Ph.D. program in Philippine Studies in conjunction with the College of Arts and Letters and the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy.
