Following the success of the first Hiroshima International Conference on Peace and Sustainability (HICPS 2022), the Network for Education and Research on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS) at Hiroshima University and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) will jointly host the NERPS Conference 2023 February 28 to March 3, 2023 at the AIT campus in Thailand.
The UP Asian Center in partnership with the Orient Institute (Instituto do Oriente) and the Colégio Tropical of University of Lisbon, Portugal will host the online panel discussion "Portugal and Southeast Asia: Shared Histories, Current Synergies" on 8 and 9 July 2025, 3 PM to 5 PM (GMT+8), online via Zoom. The event is free and open to the public, but signing in to a (free) Zoom account is required.
The UP Asian Center will host the book talk, "Preserving Legacies: An Introduction of the MCM Santamaria Book Collection" and formal turnover to the Asian Center Library on 20 June 2025, 1 PM to 3 PM (GMT+8), at the Seminar Hall, Hall of Wisdom, Asian Center, UP Diliman. The event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to register online.
