This year, the UP Asian Center is celebrating its 67th Founding Anniversary. As part of its celebration, there will be a month-long series of online and on-site activities that the Asian Center community and its partners are welcome to enjoy.

17 November 2022 | 50 Years of Diplomatic Relations between Bangladesh and the Philippines
The UP Asian Center and the Embassy of Bangladesh, Manila will be holding a hybrid seminar to celebrate the “50 Years of Diplomatic Relations between Bangladesh and the Philippines: Achievements, Challenges and Potentials” on 17 November 2022, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (GMT+8), at the GT-Toyota Auditorium, Asian Center, and via Zoom.
18 November 2022 | UP Diliman, Mindanao State University to sign MOU @ the UP Asian Center
The University of the Philippines Diliman, through the Asian Center, and the Mindanao State University – Main Campus (MSU-Main) are forging ahead with a partnership to promote the interface of Mindanao studies and Asian studies in the two campuses on 18 November 2022, 10:00 am (GMT+8), at the Japan Hall, UP Asian Center.
27 November 2022 | The Asia Concert - "Samar": Tinig, Galaw, Salita
The UP Asian Center will hold The Asia Concert with the theme, "Samar": Tinig, Galaw, Salita on 27 November 2022, Sunday, 6:00 pm (GMT+8) at the GT-Toyota Auditorium, Asian Center, Diliman. The event is open to the public. Tickets are priced at PhP 200 each, available for pre-order. Seating is first-come, first-served.

12 December 2022 | Building Bridges: Unraveling the Cultural History of The Chinese in the Philippines
The UP Asian Center in partnership with the UP Chinese Student Association will be hosting an Alternative Classroom Learning Experience Webinar via Zoom, "Building Bridges: Unraveling the Cultural History of The Chinese in the Philippines" on 12 December 2022, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Philippine Standard Time. The webinar is free and open to the public. Registration and signing into a (free) Zoom account is required.
