    The UP Asian Center will hold the on-site gastronomic fair, "Flavors of Friendship: A Taste of ASEAN Heritage" on 10 November 2025, 8 AM to 12 PM (GMT+8), at the GT-Toyota Asian Center, UP Diliman. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to register online.

  • Trans-Pacific Sustainability Dialogue 2025 | An Onsite Forum

    The UP Asian Center is co-hosting the Trans-Pacific Sustainability Dialogue 2025 on 10 November 2025 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel and 11 November 2025 at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, 9 AM - 5 PM, PHT (Manila Time). The UP Asian Center is accepting applications to its graduate programs on Asian Studies and on Philippine Studies for the second semester, Academic Year 2021–2022, which starts in February 2022.

Themed "Margins and Mobilities in Asia," the latest issue of Asian Studies: Journal of Critical Perspectives on Asia–Volume 57, Issue 2, Year 2021—is now available in the journal's website. 

The UP Asian Center will be hosting a webinar, “The Future of State in the Middle East ” on 27 October 2021, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM, Philippine Standard Time.

Together with their colleagues across UP’s constituent universities, eight faculty members of the UP Asian Center received UP Diliman Centennial Professorial Chairs and Faculty Grants in recognition of their research and mentoring efforts in 2020.
