The UP Asian Center will hold a webinar, “Recent Developments in Inter-Korea Relations,” on 2 December 2020, 2 pm, Philippine time, via Zoom. The event is free and open to the public, but interested participants are required to register using an authenticated Zoom account.

Read the articles of Professor Aurora Roxas-Lim (1935-2020), former dean of the Asian Center. She was a scholar in the field of literature, art history and area studies. She wrote on topics such as Southeast Asian art, history, culture, religion, and maritime societies.

The Dr. Peter Boomgaard Southeast Asia Collection is now available for access to students, faculty and scholars studying Southeast Asian studies. Due to the community quarantine, interested borrowers are requested to follow the guidelines set by the Asian Center Library when accessing the collection.

Professor Aurora Roxas-Lim, former dean of the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman, passed away on 16 November 2020. She was 84.
