Rusell Irene L. Lagunsad, TriCollege Ph.D. Philippine Studies Program student was awarded the 2023 Gawad Tsanselor para sa Natatanging Mag-aaral, one of the most prestigious distinctions awarded to UP Diliman students for their exemplary accomplishments and contributions to their respective fields. The awarding ceremony was held on 23 June 2023, 2:00 pm, PHT, at the University Theatre, UP Diliman.

The class of the UP Asian Center, PS 279, will be holding the webinar, “Transitional Justice in the ASEAN Context: Lessons from the Past and Ways Forward,” on 17 June 2023, 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Philippine time via Zoom. The webinar is free and open to the public, but registration and signing in to a (free) Zoom account are required.

The UP Asian Center in partnership with UNHCR: The UN Refugee Agency and the Philippine Legislators' Committee on Population and Development will be organizing the celebration of World Refugee Day on 20 - 22 June 2023, at the UPFI Film Center, University of the Philippines Diliman. The event is free and open to the public but registration and ticket reservation is required.
