    As part of the 70th anniversary celebration of the UP Asian Center, the roundtable discussion focuses on the history and the pioneers who have shaped the Asian Center over the years. This round table serves as a look back at the center's colorful past, as well as a look ahead to its future direction. The event aims to provide a platform for scholarly exchange and critical discussion. The roundtable discussion also aims to provide the audience with the opportunity to learn more about the center's history and its notable scholars.

  • Pagasa sa Gitna ng Kalayaan | A Traveling Exhibit and Lecture by the NHCP Museo El Deposito

    The UP Asian Center in partnership with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines through the NHCP Museo El Deposito is organizing the launch of "Pagasa sa Gitna ng Kalayaan,"  a Traveling Exhibit and Lecture by the NHCP Museo El Deposito on 2 December 2025, 9:30 AM (GMT+8), at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, UP Diliman. The exhibit will run until 15 December 2025 at the ASEAN Hall, UP Asian Center. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to register online.

The UP TriCollege PhD Philippine Studies Program and the UP Asian Center will hold a Writing Bootcamp on 7 and 14 December 2024, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, PST (GMT+8) at the Seminar Room, UP Asian Center. The event is FREE OF CHARGE. Limited slots are available. Registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. All registrants are expected to attend the two-day boot camp.  The deadline for registration is on 5 December 2024.

UP Asian Center and TriCollege alumni, Associate Professor Dr. Noel Christian A. Moratilla has been appointed Dean of the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman for a term of three years from 29 October 2024 to 29 October 2027.
