Hosted by the University of the Philippines Diliman led by the UP Asian Center, the Consortium for Southeast Asian Studies in Asia (SEASIA) is now accepting submissions for its 5th Biennial International Conference with the theme "De/Centering Southeast Asia." The deadline for submission is on 30 November 2023.

The UP Asian Center and the TriCollege Ph.D. Philippine Studies Program will be holding their joint Recognition Ceremonies on 30 July 2023, 2:00 pm, Philippine Standard Time (GMT+8), at the GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center Auditorium. The on-site event is exclusive to graduates and their guests.

Rusell Irene L. Lagunsad, TriCollege Ph.D. Philippine Studies Program student was awarded the 2023 Gawad Tsanselor para sa Natatanging Mag-aaral, one of the most prestigious distinctions awarded to UP Diliman students for their exemplary accomplishments and contributions to their respective fields. The awarding ceremony was held on 23 June 2023, 2:00 pm, PHT, at the University Theatre, UP Diliman.

The class of the UP Asian Center, PS 279, will be holding the webinar, “Transitional Justice in the ASEAN Context: Lessons from the Past and Ways Forward,” on 17 June 2023, 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Philippine time via Zoom. The webinar is free and open to the public, but registration and signing in to a (free) Zoom account are required.
