    The UP Asian Center and the Embassy of Vietnam in the Philippines will be hosting the onsite symposium, "From Neighbors to Partners: Celebrating 50 Years of Philippines-Vietnam Relations" on 18 August 2026, 2 PM, PHT, at the Seminar Room, UP Asian Center. The event is free and open to the public; refreshments will also be provided, but online registration is recommended due to limited slots.

  • ANNYEONG! Free Online Beginner Korean Language Class @ UP Asian Center

    The UP Asian Center, in partnership with the Asia Center, Seoul National University, through the generous support of the Korea Foundation, will offer free BEGINNER Korean Language classes, to be held every Saturday starting 22 August 2026, online via Zoom. Applications for limited slots are open to AC Korea Majors, Asian Center students, and UP students. The deadline for applications is 14 August 2026, 11:59 PM, PHT.

The UP Asian Center is co-hosting "Punla at Binhi: Buto Workshop Series" on 19 November 2025 at the ASEAN Hall, UP Asian Center, 1 - 5 PM, PHT (Manila Time). The workshop is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Pre-registration is recommended due to limited available slots. 

The UP Asian Center is now accepting photo entries to the photo contest, "Flavors of Friendship: Food Across the ASEAN" co-organized with DFA - Office of Cultural Diplomacy and the Asian Center Student Organization. The deadline for applications is 6 November 2025. The call is open to the public.

The UP Asian Center's on-site gastronomic fair, "Flavors of Friendship: A Taste of ASEAN Heritage" has been POSTPONED INDEFINITELY. The event will remain free and open to all.

The UP Asian Center is co-hosting the Trans-Pacific Sustainability Dialogue 2025 on 10 November 2025 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel and 11 November 2025 at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, 9 AM - 5 PM, PHT (Manila Time). Both days of the forum are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Pre-registration is recommended due to limited available slots. Food and refreshments will be provided. 

The TriCollege Ph.D. Philippine Studies Program is now accepting applications for the January/February 2026 intake (Second Semester, Academic Year 2025-2026). The deadline for applications is 30 November 2025.
