The UP Asian Center will hold the online international conference "Negotiating Asian Spatialities: Historical and Contemporary Perspectives on Mobility, Liminality, and Rootedness" on 10-11 October 2024, 9 AM, PHT (GMT+8), via Zoom. The UP Asian Center successfully conducted the 5th Biennial Conference of the Consortium for Southeast Asian Studies in Asia (SEASIA). First time held in the Philippines, the conference was held from 18 to 20 July 2024 at the GT-Toyota Asian Center and the UP School of Economics.

The UP Asian Center successfully held the Student Orientation for newly admitted students for the First Semester of Academic Year 2024-2025 on 17 August 2024, a few days before the start of classes, at the Seminar Room, GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center.
