    As part of the UP Day of Remembrance 2024 commemoration, the UP Asian Center in partnership with OVCRD journals Humanities Diliman and Social Science Diliman and the UP President's Committee on Culture and the Arts will hold the hybrid public forum "Contesting Memories and Narratives of Philippine History in Social Media" on 14 October 2024, 9 AM, PHT (GMT+8), at the Seminar Room of the UP Asian Center and via Zoom. The UP Asian Center will be hosting a webinar via Zoom, “Geopolitical Competition in Central Asia and Its Implications to the Middle East, Russia, South Asia, and East Asia” on 9 November 2021,  2:00 pm–5:00 pm (Philippine Standard Time).

The UP Asian Center is looking for one (1) graduate assistant. Deadline of applications is on 15 November. The graduate student is expected to start at the soonest possible time after the necessary papers are processed.

The UP Asian Center is accepting applications to its graduate programs on Asian Studies and on Philippine Studies for the second semester, Academic Year 2021–2022, which starts in February 2022.

Themed "Margins and Mobilities in Asia," the latest issue of Asian Studies: Journal of Critical Perspectives on Asia–Volume 57, Issue 2, Year 2021—is now available in the journal's website.
