The UP Asian Center joins the university and the art community in mourning the passing of Professor Leonilo Doloricon (1957–2021), artist, teacher and former dean of the College of Fine Arts, University of the Philippines Diliman, and alumnus of the UP Asian Center.

The UP Asian Center invites everyone to the second webinar of the series, “Saving Gaza, Fighting for Peace: Perspectives on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict," which will be held via Zoom on 9 July 2021, 3:00 pm—6:00 pm, Philippine Standard Time (GMT + 8).

Abstracts/submissions are now open for the 7th Biennial International e-Conference of the Japanese Studies Association in Southeast Asia.

The UP Asian Center welcomed last May 2021 a donation of 398 volumes, inclusive of 357 titles, from the China International Book Trading Corporation (CIBTC).
