  • Viva Palestina! | A Solidarity Event for Palestine

    The UP Asian Center in partnership with the Philippines-Palestine Friendship Association (PPFA), will be holding "Viva Palestina! A Solidarity Event for Palestine" on 22 March 2026. The discussion and side events will be held from 1 - 5 PM, while the solidarity concert will be from 5 - 8 PM, PST (GMT+8), at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium. Tickets are priced at 150 Pesos, but donations more than the amount is welcome. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting solidarity campaigns and initiatives for the Palestinian cause.

The UP Asian Center will continue holding classes partly online and partly onsite for the new academic year 2023—2024. The number of face-to-face classes in relation to online sessions will depend on the pedagogical preference of the instructor and the particular circumstances of students enrolled in the class. Hosted by the University of the Philippines Diliman led by the UP Asian Center, the Consortium for Southeast Asian Studies in Asia (SEASIA)  is now accepting submissions for its 5th Biennial International Conference with the theme "De/Centering Southeast Asia." The deadline for submission is on 30 November 2023.
