The graduate students of Philippine Studies 201 at the UP Asian Center are organizing an exhibit, Reconnecting Butuan and the Asia-Pacific: History, Heritage and Identity from 28 to 29 November 2018 at the UP Asian Center, QC.

The UP Asian Center will be showcasing Persian culture in Sights, Sounds, and Strokes: The Music, Food and Calligraphy of Iran on 16 November 2018, 2 to 5 pm @ UP Asian Center, QC. The event is free and open to the public, but participants are encouraged to sign up. 

The UP Asian Center will be holding a forum-exhibit, The Ethnic, The Everyday, and the Exotic: The Philippines on Display, on 14 November 2018, 3 pm–5 pm, UP Asian Center, Quezon City. The event is free and open to the public, but participants are encouraged to sign up. 

The UP Asian Center will hold “A Taste of Asia: A Mini Food Festival” on 15 November 2018, 3–5 pm at the UP Asian Center, Quezon City. The event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome, but interested participants are encouraged to sign up.

The UP Asian Center is holding “The Philippines and East Asia: Strengthening Ties” a public forum on 13 November 2018, 9:00 am–10:30 am; 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM; and from 1:00 PM–3:00 PM at the UP Asian Center, Quezon City. The event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome, but interested participants are encouraged to sign up.
