  • Viva Palestina! | A Solidarity Event for Palestine

    The UP Asian Center in partnership with the Philippines-Palestine Friendship Association (PPFA), will be holding "Viva Palestina! A Solidarity Event for Palestineon 22 March 2026. The discussion and side events will be held from 1 - 5 PM, while the solidarity concert will be from 5 - 8 PM, PST (GMT+8), at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium. Tickets are priced at 150 Pesos, but donations more than the amount is welcome. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting solidarity campaigns and initiatives for the Palestinian cause.

A lecture, "Trade and Development with Human Capital: A Century's Narrative in Korea," by Dr. Hak Kil Pyo will serve as the keynote address at Asia 4.0: The 2019 Graduate Students' Conference, which will be held on 23 November 2019, 8 am to 4 pm, at the UP Asian Center, QC. The UP Asian Center will be organizing a lecture and tea tasting, Blue Tea in Southeast Asia, on 19 November 2019, 3:00 pm–4:30 pm, at the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is first-come, first-served. Participants are encouraged to sign up.
