  • Champions of Change and Innovation: UP Youth Summit on Sustainable Development Goals

    The UP Asian Center together with the University of the Philippines (UP) Office of the President, through the UP Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs—Office of Student Development Services (OVPAA-OSDS), and UP CIFAL Philippines will host the two-day capacity-building event, "Champions of Change and Innovation: UP Youth Summit on Sustainable Development Goals." The event is open to all Constituent Units of the University of the Philippines.

The UP Asian Center will hold the “Japanese Studies in the Philippines: A Forum and Nationwide Research Competition Year 3”  on 6 March 2021, 8 am – 3 pm, via Zoom.

HAINAN NORMAL University, China recently published the 2018 Philippine Development Report, which was edited by Dean Joefe B. Santarita and Dr. Noel Moratilla, and which features two chapters from Dr. Jocelyn Celero, Assistant Professor, and Professor Rolando Talampas.

The Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the China International Publishing Group (CIPG) for donating nine boxes of books to the Asian Center Library, UP Diliman.

The UP Asian Center will hold a virtual research conference, “Beyond ASEAN: Global and Local Impacts of Balancing Domestic and Foreign Policy Priorities,” on 13 January 2021, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, Philippine time via Zoom.

The UP Asian Center presented “Flares of Hope, Vanguards of Unity,” its Virtual Lantern Presentation during the “Diwa ng Diliman” ceremonies, which were held on 18 December 2020 in lieu of UP’s traditional Lantern Parade.
