    The UP Asian Center in partnership with the Asia Center, Seoul National University through the generous support of the Korea Foundation, will offer a free INTERMEDIATE Korean Language classes to be held every Wednesday starting 31 January 2026, Online via Zoom.  Three students from the Tri-College PhD Philippine Studies Program of UP Diliman have recently received prestigious awards in recognition of their work in research, storytelling, and playwriting.

 Two Korea Majors from the Asian Center, UP Diliman, will be participating in international events and activities on Korea Studies in South Korea in July to August 2025.

The UP Asian Center, UP Center for International Studies, and the DLSU-Southeast Asia Research Center and Hub (SEARCH) will host " The Global Anti-Imperialist Movement and the Legacy of Bandung," an online book talk of Vision for the Future: An Intellectual History of the 1955 Bandung Conference by Wildan Sena Utama, on 17 July 2025, 2 PM, Manila Time (1 PM, Jakarta) online via Zoom. The webinar is free and open to the public, but signing in to a (free) Zoom account is required.

The UP Asian Center will host the public lecture "Privatizing Governance: How the Country’s Top Oligarchs Capture Business and Politics" on 11 July 2025, 2 PM to 5 PM (GMT+8), at the Seminar Hall, Hall of Wisdom, Asian Center, UP Diliman. The event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to register online.
