    The UP Asian Center will be holding the onsite public lecture and exhibit "From Negatives to Narratives: The Analog Heritage of the Asian Centeron 23 February 2026, 1:00 - 3:30 PM, PST (GMT+8), at the Seminar Room, UP Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman. The exhibit will be displayed at the Hall of Wisdom lobby from 23 to 28 February 2026. The event is free and open to the public. Online pre-registration is recommended due to limited seating.

The UP Asian Center in collaboration with Focus on the Global South and the Asian Music for People’s Peace and Progress will conduct "Culture of Solidarity and Resistance: Bangladesh and the July Uprising," A Conversation and Concert with Samageet, on 30 September 2025, 2 PM (GMT+8) to 9 PM, PHT, at the ASEAN and Japan Halls, Asian Center, UP Diliman. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged due to limited seating. 

The UP Asian Center, in collaboration with Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) and the Japan Foundation Manila, will host the onsite international symposium, “Pre-/Post-colonial Southern Philippines: Japanese and Filipino Perspectives” on 01 October 2025, 1 PM (GMT+8), at the Seminar Room, UP Asian Center. The event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome but, attendees are encouraged to register online because of limited slots.

The UP Asian Center, UP Center for International Studies, and the De La Salle University Southeast Asia Research Center and Hub is CALLING FOR PARTICIPANTS for the Hybrid International Conference on the Asian-African Conference of 1955, “Sejiwa: The Spirit of Bandung at 70” on 5 - 8 November 2025 at De La Salle University Manila and the Asian Center, UP Diliman. Attendance requires payment of registration fees. 

The UP Asian Center and the Maningning Miclat Art Foundation, Inc. (MMAFI) will host the Onsite Launch of the 15th Anniversary Edition in Coffee Table Book Form of Mario I. Miclat’s Secrets of the Eighteen Mansions and the 2025 Maningning Miclat Poetry Awards, Alaala Alang-alang sa Sining, on 29 September 2025, 4 PM, PHT, at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, UP Diliman. The event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to register online.
