The UP Asian Center and the DFA Office of Cultural Diplomacy successfully hosted Dialogo: Philippine Studies Goes Global, 2024 International Conference on Philippine Studies. The conference was held from 27 to 29 November 2024 at the Ramon Magsaysay Center, Diamond Hotel, and the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium. About 20 Philippine Studies programs and 250 participants spanning 15 countries from around the world attended the conference.

The UP Asian Center in collaboration with the European Network in Universal and Global History (ENIUGH), the Global Diplomacy Network (GDN), and the Linnaeus University Center for Concurrences in Colonial and Postcolonial Studies (LNUC) is now ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for the International Summer School "Towards Inclusive Global Histories" on 7-9 September 2025 at Linnaeus University, Växjö, Sweden. The deadline for applications is on 31 January 2025.

The UP TriCollege PhD Philippine Studies Program and the UP Asian Center will hold a Writing Bootcamp on 7 and 14 December 2024, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, PST (GMT+8) at the Seminar Room, UP Asian Center. The event is FREE OF CHARGE. Limited slots are available. Registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. All registrants are expected to attend the two-day boot camp. The deadline for registration is on 5 December 2024.
