The UP Asian Center, with the support of the UP Office of International Linkages (UP-OIL), is now accepting abstract submissions for the Onsite International Conference, “Kapuluan: Archipelagic Convergences between Southeast Asia and the Pacific.” The deadline for submission is 26 October 2026, Monday (Manila Time). The conference is ONSITE and is open to ALL students (undergraduate or graduate), scholars, researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders. Participation in the conference is FREE.

TriCollege Ph.D. Philippine Studies Program Students showcased their research and presentation skills as they participated in local, national, and international academic conferences for the first half of 2026. Many students participated in local conferences organized by various institutions in the Philippines and abroad.

UP Asian Center Students continue to make their mark in the academic scene as they presented their research at various national and international conferences during the first half of 2026 (January to July 2026). Students from both AC Philippine and Asian Studies Programs brought their fresh perspectives to a diverse range of discussions, demonstrating the breadth of their scholarship and their engagement with pressing social, cultural, and regional issues.
