    The UP Asian Center will hold the on-site gastronomic fair, "Flavors of Friendship: A Taste of ASEAN Heritage" on 10 November 2025, 8 AM to 12 PM (GMT+8), at the GT-Toyota Asian Center, UP Diliman. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to register online.

    The UP Asian Center is co-hosting the Trans-Pacific Sustainability Dialogue 2025 on 10 November 2025 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel and 11 November 2025 at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, 9 AM - 5 PM, PHT (Manila Time). The UP Asian Center is now accepting abstract submissions for Japanese Studies in the Philippines: The 8th Japanese Studies Research Development Competition. Undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in Philippine Universities may submit any topic related to Japanese Studies can be submitted (except topics that focus solely on natural sciences, medical sciences, and engineering). The deadline for submissions is EXTENDED to 12 September 2025, 5:00 PM, PHT.

The UP Asian Center in partnership with the Asia Center, Seoul National University through the generous support of the Korea Foundation, will offer a free BEGINNER Korean Language classes to be held every Tuesday starting 12 August 2025 to 18 November 2024, Online via Zoom. Applications for limited slots are open to AC Korea Majors, Asian Center students, and UP students. The deadline for registration for AC and UP Students is on 4 August 2025, 11:59 PM, PHT.

 Three students from the Tri-College PhD Philippine Studies Program of UP Diliman have recently received prestigious awards in recognition of their work in research, storytelling, and playwriting.
