    The UP Asian Center will be holding the onsite public lecture and exhibit "From Negatives to Narratives: The Analog Heritage of the Asian Centeron 23 February 2026, 1:00 - 3:30 PM, PST (GMT+8), at the Seminar Room, UP Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman. The UP Asian Center will hold the first installment of the Ambassador Lecture Series, "Role of Faith Based Organizations towards Indigenous Communities during the Covid-19 Pandemic" on 27 November 2025, 1 PM (GMT+8), at the Seminar Room, Asian Center, UP Diliman. The UP Asian Center, in partnership with the Foreign Service Institute, Department of Foreign Affairs, will hold the first installment of the Ambassador Lecture Series, "Timor Leste's Path to ASEAN Membership: Opportunities and Challenges" on 21 November 2025, 2 PM (GMT+8), at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, UP Diliman. The UP Asian Center recently co-hosted the visit of former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the Trans-Pacific Sustainability Dialogue 2025 at the University of the Philippines Diliman on 11 November 2025, the second day of the two-day Dialogue. Co-hosted and organized with the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC) of Stanford University and the Ban Ki-moon Foundation for a Better Future, the first day of the Dialogue was held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel in Makati. 

The UP Asian Center will hold an Academic Programs Information Session on 19 November 2025, 3:00 PM, PST (GMT+8), via Zoom. The event is free and open to the public but signing in to a (free) Zoom account is required.

Eight (8) UP Asian Center faculty members were conferred the 2025 UP Diliman Centennial Professorial Chair and Faculty Grants Awards in recognition of their research and mentoring efforts in the previous year. The award was formally given during the University Council meeting in October 2025.
